Inspired by the utilitarian type of seating produced in 19 Century East Anglia, The Waveney sits comfortably as a modern classic with its clean lines and unfussy design. The low stools have a variety of uses aside from seating, and can often be found in my own home holding books, clothes and cups of tea. The high stools work great in both a traditional and contemporary setting.
This particular stool is made in pippy oak grown and cut at Ickworth House, Suffolk. It is finished with a light liming and hardwax oil.
