Terms & Conditions

Our Work

We make furniture and bespoke pieces by hand, largely to order. Each item is made specifically for you, using natural materials and traditional methods. The following terms are designed to be clear, fair, and in keeping with the nature of handmade, long-lasting work.

Prices & Payment

Prices may change, and your final price will always be confirmed before your order is accepted.

All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges and any import duties are not included and are added at checkout.

Customers outside the UK are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or local charges.

Payment can be made via an online payment link or bank transfer. Bespoke orders will be invoiced with full payment details.

We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa and MasterCard, but we reserve the right to decline card payments in certain circumstances.

Lead Times

All pieces are made to order, and lead times vary depending on the design, materials, and current workload.

Please refer to the lead time shown on the product page or confirm it with us when ordering.

We always aim to meet agreed lead times, but as with all handmade work, delays can occasionally occur. If this happens, we’ll keep you informed.

Delivery & Collection

Delivery is not included in the product price unless clearly stated at checkout.

Once an item leaves our workshop, responsibility passes to the courier. If your piece arrives damaged or not as expected, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll assist.

We can provide a delivery quote once your address is confirmed.

International delivery is available via trusted couriers, and a white-glove service can be arranged if required.

Items not collected within six months, and where no storage arrangement or confirmed delivery or collection date has been agreed, may be resold without refund.

Buying Online

We take care to represent our work accurately, but colours and finishes may appear different on screens.

Please check all dimensions carefully and ensure access routes (including doorways, staircases, and lifts) are suitable before ordering.

As all pieces are made specifically to order, we cannot accept returns for items ordered in the wrong size or that cannot be installed due to access restrictions.

Materials & Finishes

We work with solid timber and other natural materials. Variations in grain, colour, knots, and markings are part of their character and are not considered faults.

If you prefer a more uniform or tightly matched appearance, please discuss this with us before ordering.

Wood naturally responds to changes in temperature and humidity. Our timber is properly seasoned, and our construction allows for this movement. We cannot accept returns for changes caused by environmental conditions after a piece has left our workshop.

All finishes are applied by hand. Minor variations are part of the process, and the same finish may appear different depending on the timber used. Please refer to examples on our website before confirming your order.

If a higher level of consistency is required, please let us know before placing your order.
