This fluted column is made using a traditional coopered construction, echoing the way barrels are built. The result is a clean, rounded form with crisp vertical fluting that gives the piece a strong presence.
It works well as a lamp stand, a plinth for sculpture, or as a simple standalone piece in a room. The surface has been ebonised, lightly distressed, and finished with a natural beeswax paste.
